  1. Crafting It Up and Creations

400 grit sandpaper is most helpful and takes the sharp edges off the ornaments… on a side note when I went back to AC Moore they had several with same issues!! So 400 grit sandpaper is a great thing to have in your crafting arsenal!! Thanks again for watching!!

Try using very fine sandpaper on the edges of the bulbs from orientalist trading and than attach Maribor ribbon to hide the rough edges

could you stick an ornament on that rough pice?  You are so creative – I know you can find a way to make that rough edge better!  Ca you sand it somehow?  File it?

After you decorate them you can glue a trim around the hole and cover the sharp areas. But like the other ladies prob want to sand them 1st so you don’t mess your hands up. Nice haul.

You can also cover the edges of the opening with ribbon, mini garland, string beads etc. to cover the sharp edge if you do not have success or time to sand them 🙂

You can salvage them! We took $ store whole clear bulbs and my husband did the cutout himself. The cut is far from perfect but I just hot glued christmas greenery around the hole and it hides any imperfections in the cut. You can decorate the greenery as you like with glitter or frost with snow paint. I made beautiful wintery scenes on the inside as well and added a tea light.

Call them! One Christmas I ordered red beads to make candy cane ornies and they were orange! Replacing them or giving me credit was not a problem! Can't wait to see what you make!

I can't wait to see what you do with them. I don't think I have ever seen terrarium ornaments. And I know you will be able to fix up the openings to them. You seem to have the knack to do things like that. Bye

I love Oriental Trading. To bad about the ornaments. Contact the company to see if they have a issue with them. I think if you took a flame to the part that is rough, it would discolor the item. If you could heat it up slightly, it might smooth it out. You could try the tip of a glue gun heated up or a curling iron. Something along those lines.
