Aloha, welcome to Hipfig's video guide series on Honolulu.
In this video we'll be sharing currency exchange counter information for Honolulu primarily focusing on the Waikiki area.
You can easily find currency exchange counters at the Honolulu International Airport, major hotels, and Waikiki area.
Some popular exchange counters in Waikiki include: the Pacific Money Exchange on Royal Hawaiian Avenue; the DFS Galleria Money Exchange on Royal Hawaiian Avenue; the Paradise Foreign Exchange on Lewers Street; the d’R Exchange currency exchange on Royal Hawaiian Avenue; and the Currency Exchange International on Kalakaua Avenue.
There's also a Travelex currency service at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki complex on Kalakaua.
You can also exchange at banks like the Bank of Hawaii or the American Savings Bank.
Both banks have several locations throughout Honolulu.
No matter where you change your currency, there's always a fee or Commission involved so if you're changing large amounts of currency it's worth checking around a few banks or currency exchange counters.
