Bernard Lietaer has been active in the domain of money systems in an unusual variety of functions. He worked for the Central Bank in Belgium and acted as President of Belgium’s Electronic Payment System. He advised countries and multinational corporations on four continents. As a hedge fund manager he was named “the world’s top currency trader” by Business Week in 1992. He is the author of fourteen books, including The Future of Money translated in 18 languages.
