Add missing rates to a currency conversion table: SAP BusinessObjects Cloud (2017.6.0)

When working with models that have currency conversion enabled, there may be occasions when one or more conversion rates are required are but not are present in the currency conversion table.

When this happens, a warning message states that currency conversion has failed.

We can click the Add Missing Rates link to open the currency conversion table and add the required rates.

The currency conversion table opens, and the Add Missing Rates panel displays the details of the rate to be added.

An entry for the rate has been added to the table, and we just need to specify the exchange rate.

We can add other rates to the table if desired.

For this example, we will click Keep to preserve the rate to close the Add Missing Rates panel.

We can reopen the Add Missing Rates panel if desired by clicking the button in the toolbar.

Now we will save the changes to the table.

Note that on the Conversion Errors tab, we can see the history of conversion errors that have been generated by models that use the currency table.

After the currency table has been updated, we no longer encounter an error when we create a table based on the model.
